WHEN I WAS HUNGRY

NALA is a great experience. It is a Christ- centered school. It is a great school. I like that the teachers are nice. Also we learn about Christ. We have great events here. We get to grow a garden, learn how to draw, and learn to read music. Most of all we also get to serve people in need.

On November 16, 2016 we went to First Light Women and Children’s Shelter. The woman’s shelter was good. Many of these women do not have homes. I got to make cupcakes and pass out bread. The cupcakes looked like cornbread muffins with frosting. We

didn’t have vanilla for the cupcakes so we used syrup instead. Many of the women were happy that we were there. I think they really enjoyed the dinner. One lady even cried because she was touched by what we do. Also when we stopped on the way back I bought an ICEE. It was good.
