NAPS Abundant Life Academy

On Thursday, October 26, 2017 we went to the Greensboro Nursing Home. My experience at the nursing home was great. I saw many people who didn’t have anybody to take care of them or pray for them. This made me feel very sad because they were there by themselves. Also, some of people looked sad, but when we came in they were so happy to see our faces. I think they liked our bell performances and they also liked our bible verses. Some of them even tried to sing along with us. I

NALA students assist Hurricane Harvey victims by creating care packages. They spent two days recruiting donated supplies and then packing the care packages with much love. On March 3, 2017, I went on a mission trip to New Orleans with NAPS. We canvassed in the French Quarters. Canvassing is basically fundraising, and we fundraised for NALA and a NAPS mission trip to Ethiopia. We also went to a neighborhood that had been struck by a tornado. We assembled with people from the local churches and helped to repair a house. We removed debris from one families home. Most of the roof was gone, but everything else was intact. I love going to NALA! I think it’s a great place to be with great people who show you love. Especially for kids who may not come from that type of home. Something I love about my school is that we learn a lot. No child is left behind! All of us may not be on the same page, but NALA helps you no matter where you are. Psalm 56:3 "When I am afraid, I will trust in You." Last weekend, I went on my second trip to 3ABN with NALA, but this time was different. It was different because my mom was not there and I was afraid to go on T.V. with everyone else. So one of my teachers called my mom. God used my mom to tell me not to let my fear control me.
